We’re perhaps not certain if this started occurring — perhaps with Riverdale? — but there is apparently a rash of “dark, gritty, more adult” reboots of kids’ cartoons or comics. Even if they’re perhaps not totally stupid, the trend remains tiring as it presents conflict in places where there actually was none within the material that is original. FATE: THE WINX SAGA: STREAM IT OR SKIP IT?
